Geoffrey Steinherz

  • Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
  • Graduated from Xavier High School.
  • B.A. from Goddard College in English Literature
  • Studied playwriting at Hunter College

 

Work experience

  • 1976 - 1985 work for an international R+D foundation.
  • Moved to Germany in 1985 to work for a publisher specialized in environmental subjects.
  • Self-employed as translator since 1999 and voiceover artist since 2001.
  • Acting and directing for the U.S. Army entertainment program in Wiesbaden since 1985.
  • Founded the publishing company edition steinherz in 2001
  • Beginning in 2002 work as free-lance actor in German and English stage adaptations of Mark Twain short stories.
  • Beginning in 2005 moderator for cultural events in Frankfurt and Wiesbaden
  • 2008 – 2009 Kaltblütig – Die Songs, with monologues and songs by Geoffrey Steinherz, arranged and played with Off Jazz Trio.
